Producer
As a producer, I try to take the songs that artists hear in their head and make them a reality for everyone else. I try to take a very holistic approach to production. Its not just about being in the studio and recording songs. Its about really looking at the songs in their raw form. Its about coming up with a plan that makes sense for the individual. Its about working together with other talented musicians to make sure that each song lives up to its full potential. As a producer, its my job to make sure that that process happens, from the very first pre-production session until delivery of the masters. And its also my job to make sure that the experience is enjoyable and memorable for the artist.
Engineer
I really love the art of engineering. Whether its running sound at a live venue, assisting at a studio with patchs, or dialing in tones as the staff engineer at NashVin, I truly feel that engineering is the first step in linking the music people play to the audience's ears. Its a job that I always love, always learn from, and always look forward to.
Nashville + Vintage = NashVin
NashVin studio started as a guitar overdub facility. Very early on, we expanded to vintage keys equipment as well. NashVin continues to be used as a premier guitar and keys overdub facility for independent and major record label projects. But we also have expanded our scope to include full production albums for developing and independent artists.
If you are looking to make an album, or maybe feel like the album you are currently working on needs just a bit more, give us a call. We love making records. We love making our clients smile. For us, there is nothing better than having an artist say "It sounds better than I ever thought it could."
We seem to get that alot around here.
